Intermediate to advanced skiers can join us in Grand Teton National Park for the challenge of a good climb and a long ski run.  We chose the best slopes for the conditions of the day, with options including  Maverick Ridge, 25′ Short, Turkey Chute,   Mt. Albright (10,552′) and Wimpy’s Knob.   You’ll  enjoy incredible views of the Tetons and Jackson Hole before the 3,000 foot descents  to the valley floor.  Specialized touring equipment is required for all tours in Grand Teton National Park.

These local favorites provide 3,000 feet of pure powder skiing bliss. A full-day of hiking and skiing in the mountain coupled with amazing views of the Grand Tetons will provide an unparalleled experience. Skiers should be in good physical condition and expect a strenuous tour, ascending 3,000 feet before stripping the skins for the descent. Hearty skiers can make laps and advanced skiers can finish with The Turkey Chute, descending into Avalanche Canyon and across Taggart Lake to the trailhead.

Yet another fabulous ski mountaineering descent in the Tetons, Mt. Albright (10,552′) is an easily accessible peak to ski in a day. For those in good physical condition, laps can be made on select slopes with an exciting finish off of the summit.

Join us for a memorable day of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in Grand Teton National Park. Nothing can be as unforgettable as gliding or snowshoeing through snowy forests and meadows framed by the Tetons. You will experience first hand why this area is so well loved by photographers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Our friendly naturalist guides are happy to break trail for you. En route you will learn to identify animal tracks in the snow. Learn about the science of snow as we dig in the snow pack and show you snow crystals through a hand-lens. We will teach you how to stay warm and comfortable in a winter environment. Price includes a deli lunch, hot drinks, snowshoes, poles, pack and water. You provide warm hiking boots or cross-country boots and skis. Bring your camera and extra warm layers.
