Located at 8,700 feet, Plummer Canyon Yurt is our “wilderness yurt” and is ideal for those looking for a pure mountain experience. A wide range of terrain opportunities from beginner, with mellow lines on Mt. Wow, to expert, with the famed Game Creek chutes, make this a gem in our system.
Access
You’ll access the yurt via Moose Creek Canyon in the southern end of the Tetons. After traveling one mile along a flat National Forest road, you’ll cross the creek and rise gradually up Plummer Canyon, gaining 2,100 feet in 3.5 miles to reach the yurt. Snowmachine access is not permitted.
Terrain
While this yurt is popular with intermediate skiers and riders, advanced skiers will enjoy exploring the 2,000 vertical feet of steeper, north-facing pitches into Game Creek.
Maximum Group Size
This yurt sleeps eight people and has a maximum group size of eight.
