Cost $1974. plus 7% tax/fees
Join us for four days of skiing and snowboarding in the Teton backcountry when the snowpack is the deepest and the days are getting longer. Camp is limited to six participants with two guides ensuring plenty of individualized instruction.
Trip includes:
- Four days of backcountry guiding/instruction: small group size of 6 participants and 2 guides
- Two nights private and secluded slopeside Yurt lodging at 9000 feet
- Lunch on day one backcountry tour and all meals on yurt trip from lunch on day one through lunch on day three
- Rental of avalanche safety equipment, sleeping bag, and porter service to carry in supplies. Lodging the night of March 5th is not included.
Our first day’s adventure will be an introduction to the Teton backcountry, where we’ll find the best conditions in Grand Teton National Park or Teton Pass. Options for ski descents include the Turkey Chute or the east face of Mt. Albright, where a long descent is the reward for the climb. On day two, we’ll skin in to our Plummer Canyon Yurt for a three day, two night backcountry adventure. The yurt accesses pure wilderness skiing, where abundant north facing, steep runs can serve up a memorable day of skiing and riding.
Participants should plan to meet at 8:30 am on March 5th in Victor, Idaho or in Grand Teton National Park. Lunch is provided. Participants will need to provide their own lodging on the night of March 5th. Plan to meet at 8:30 am in Victor, Idaho, for departure on March 6th for the Plummer Yurt. Trip returns between 4:30-5:00 pm.
