Rammell Mountain Yurt

This is our only yurt available for rent during the summer and fall months.  

Experience a unique, nature-oriented lodging experience at our summer “glamping” yurt. This location is completely private. You’ll enjoy the only yurt on 24 wooded acres. The yurt is accessible by vehicle, boasts a bathhouse with hot running water, and is ideal for families and friends less comfortable roughing it. The yurt is nestled in a peaceful and secluded aspen grove in the foothills of the northern Tetons.  Imagine having your own private campground…with a hot shower!

“All the comforts of home, with none of the distractions!”  This spacious 30′ yurt is the only yurt located on 24 wooded acres in the Teton foothills in a rural, residential area just 20 minutes northeast of Driggs, Idaho. Unlike other vacation rentals in the area, the yurt offers complete privacy in a beautiful wooded location with nature just out the front door.  Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks are just a short drive away. Great hiking options are as close as a 10-minute drive to Wilderness hiking trailheads in the Targhee National Forest. View the exact location of this yurt on Google Maps.

Indoor Amenities

The yurt has ample room to sleep six people and includes:

• Queen-sized Serta bed with quality linens
• Fully-supplied kitchen with refrigerator, two-burner propane stove, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, cups, bowls, plates, and utensils
• Wood stove for heat and electricity for lighting and appliances
• Puzzles, games, and magazines
• Detached bathhouse with hot running water

The Bathhouse

The separate bathhouse has a flushing toilet and on-demand, propane-heated shower, tub and sink. Towels, toilet paper, and cleaning items supplied.

Outdoor Amenities

Outside the yurt, enjoy a shaded picnic table, fire pit with wood (perfect for roasting marshmallows), and a BBQ grill.

Grand Targhee Resort with a scenic chairlift, hiking and mountain biking trails; Cave Falls and the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway at the southwestern edge of Yellowstone National Park; five golf courses throughout Teton Valley; canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing on the Snake River and Teton River; mountain and road biking; and rails to trails pathways. The quaint, tourist-friendly towns of Driggs and Victor have excellent dining options and provide for all tourist needs during a vacation to the Greater Yellowstone Area.

Yurt Rental Rates

$200/night/couple plus tax
$300/night/family (4-6 people) plus tax

Rental Details

We require a two-night minimum stay. A $50 cleaning fee is added to all rentals. A credit card is required to confirm the reservation and for a security deposit for any damages incurred to property. Dogs are welcome – additional fees apply.

Availability

Rammell Mountain Summer Yurt is open for bookings from May 25 through October 31.
